Writing Workshop
When: April 22 & 29
Time: Wednesday 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Where: Art Central, 24 Church St, Moruya
Cost: Concession/Members: $25, Non-Members: $30 per class

About: "We read to know we are not alone", wrote CS Lewis. We write for the same reason, amongst others.
These two workshops will provide an opportunity for interested participants to explore memoir and narrative writing. We will examine how to compose stories or non fiction based on a variety of examples and your experiences.

Clay to cup, bowl, plate, platter
When: April 26, May 3, 10, 17, 24, then June 14
Time: Sunday 1.30pm to 3.30pm
Where: Art Central, 24 Church St, Moruya
Cost: $360 includes clay, tuition, glazing and firing.

About: Ready to swap out your mass-produced mugs and plates for something truly special? Join us for a six-week ceramics course and unleash your inner potter! Learn how to pinch, coil, and slab-build your way to a collection of unique vessels. From understanding the quirks of clay to kiln firing, under glazing, and glazing, you'll be guided every step of the way to create stunning hand-crafted tableware that’s all YOU. This course is designed to suit all levels of experience.

Lino Block Printing for Beginners
When: April 30, May 7, 14, 21 & 28
Time: Thursdays 9.30am to 11.30am
Where: Art Central, 24 Church St, Moruya
Cost: $180 (includes materials)
Tutor: Alda Rudzis
About: In this course you will be guided through a design process, learn how to carve a lino block and print your block using various inks and techniques. You will explore mark-making, texture, and composition to create a unique hand-printed design.
Suitable for beginners or for those who want to refresh their skills.
All materials provided , but bring an A4 sketch book, pencil, eraser, pen and apron or protective clothing.

Life Drawing

About: Capture the form of the human body developing perception of perspective, light, shade and foreshortening. No experience necessary. A selection of materials supplied and/or bring your own.
