Possums Art Prize

Two New Eurobodalla Art Prizes and exhibition 

Welcome to the Possum Art Prizes, two New Eurobodalla art prizes organised and delivered by Art Central (Arts Council of Eurobodalla Inc) and sponsored in partnership with Southeast Arts Inc. 

The Possum Prizes and exhibition are aimed at supporting young artists and Indigenous artists of Eurobodalla to make and exhibit art in our area. The two prizes are:

• The Possum Youth Prize, open to Eurobodalla residents between 15 and 30 years of age 

• The Possum Indigenous Prize, open to all Yuin and other Indigenous artists, of all ages, including elders, living in Eurobodalla.  

Each first prize winner will be awarded a cash prize of $1000. Second and third prize winners in each category will receive three free art lessons each at Art Central in Moruya. 

The winners will be announced at the public opening at 5pm on Friday 5 June 2026 at the Mechanics Institute, Page Street, Moruya.

The exhibition will run from 5pm on 5 June till 2pm on 13 June 2026. 

All artists, friends and family are invited to the opening and to view the exhibition.
